SimpleCTMS Spring 2018 Release Further Refines Usability and Scalability
With the Spring 2018 Update of SimpleCTMS, released last month, the team at Trial By Fire Solutions continues to put our customers first by adding a number of user-driven functionality and scalability enhancements. This includes easier report authoring for CRAs, more partial payment options, more control over email alerts, and better management of site communications.
With over 40,000 eVisit Reports authored and approved in SimpleCTMS, our CRA users wanted better integration between visit report data and other areas of the system. So we added enhanced action item synchronization, which makes issue tracking easier when authoring trip reports and managing action items that originate outside the scope of a site visit. Our customers like pertinent, succinct email alerts regarding visit reports and monitoring activity, so we added study-level settings to better enable customers to manage alerts for their teams.
For our users tracking contracts and payments, this release brings more options for specifying partial payments, with the ability to indicate specific contract line items/assessments. This feature expansion will provide transparency into the contract terms for the given visit and facilitate better workflows for partial payment scenarios.
Customers that need detailed tracking of communication between sites and the sponsor or CRO-based study team, now have an improved Site Communication tracker. Site Communications enhancements include scalability options for large data sets, custom column capability to track more detail, and the ability to import from external data sets. Also, to enable better communication with sites, we enhanced the integration between SimpleCTMS and email applications, to facilitate email communication between sites, assigned CRAs and sponsor/CRO study team leads.
As SimpleCTMS enters it’s 8th year, we are thrilled that our customers are still finding SimpleCTMS to be an enjoyable and effective study tool, and they want more. Our users continue to ask us for enhancements that will ease those clinical study management pain points, and we are working hard to deliver.
